Raw Russian Dressing
½ cup sunflower seeds (soaked for at least 4 hours)
¼ cup water (plus more as needed)
2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. pickle relish date syrup or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 clove garlic (minced)*
1 tsp. smoked paprika
¼ tsp. celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste
*If using a high speed blender like Vitamix, you don’t need to mince garlic in
my reicpes. But if using a food processor, mince garlic before including in
recipe.
